BioVerseAR is a gamified, markerless-AR science learning and assessment app made as a capstone project for Liceo de San Pablo. By creating an account or using the app, you (and, for a student, your parent or guardian on your behalf) agree to these Terms.
BioVerseAR is an educational tool for Grade 7 science. It lets students view 3D models in augmented reality, take quizzes, earn badges, and — optionally — compete on a class leaderboard. It is intended for use within your school's learning program.
It is for students and teachers of the school. Students under 18 use it as part of school activities under a teacher's supervision, with their parent's or guardian's permission.
Students sign in with a username and password — no email is required. You choose a cartoon explorer avatar, not a real photo. Keep your password private and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you forget your password, your teacher can reset it.
Use BioVerseAR for learning. Please do not: cheat or help others cheat on quizzes; try to access another person's account or data; attempt to hack, overload, copy, or disrupt the app; or upload harmful or inappropriate content. Misuse may lead to your account being removed by your teacher.
Quiz questions and lessons are for educational use. The 3D models are used under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license and their creators are credited inside each AR view.
BioVerseAR is a student capstone project and is provided "as is," without warranty. It may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. It is a study aid and does not replace your teacher, textbooks, or official assessments.
These Terms may be updated as the app improves. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
We do not collect your email, phone number, real-world location, or any photos.
Only to run the app: to log you in, save your progress, show class leaderboards, and let your teacher see how their class is doing. We do not show ads and we never sell your information.
Data is stored securely on Supabase with access rules so a student can only read their own data and a teacher can only read their own classes. Passwords are stored encrypted, never in plain text.
You can change your avatar or password anytime in your Profile, and leave a competition to stop appearing on a leaderboard. A parent, guardian, or the student can ask the teacher or school to reset a password or remove the student's account and data.
For questions about these Terms or your data, please contact your teacher or the school.
